Our commander, Duane Painter, presented an RPS Paramedic, Trent McCluskey with the VFW's EMT of the Year Award on July 22, 2025. The EMT award of the year for fiscal year 2024 was preceded by Post 4850's commander, taking the podium at RPS Headquarters in Jasper to highlight the achievements RPS has done for the community prior to presenting the award.
Members of Post 4850 were in attendance today at the Jasper Senior Recreation Center for a talk with the community about how our senior citizens can continue to find ways to support the community.
Chaplain Wade Szakacs led the conversation with Jasper Seniors on how they can continue to contribute to their community. Alongside comrade Szakacs were Post Commander Duane Painter and Senior Vice RJ Andino.
