Prior to Post 4850's meeting tonight, Commander Duane Painter presented Brodie Waid of Sumiton Fire & Rescue with our Firefighter of the Year Award for 2024-2025.  Brodie has previously received the Ricky Lee Woods Firefighter of the Year Award for 2024 from Sumiton Fire & Rescue.  By all accounts, Brodie is an outstanding firefighter and a fine man as well.
